THEOREM XR (eXtended Reality) SUITE

Theorem-XR-Suite-evolution-shortened

Theorem Solutions has created use-case XR solutions for manufacturing and design.  These are supplied 3D assets by the Visualization Pipeline which makes getting your 3D CAD into XR incredibly simple.

XR is the all-encompassing, umbrella term for the ‘reality’ technologies.  This includes, Augmented, Mixed and Virtual Reality.  The Theorem XR suite is suitable for ALL of these technologies.  Further information on these technologies can be found towards the bottom of this page here

The Theorem XR suite of applications include:

Visualization

Visualization

The Visualization Experience provides the ability to view 3D models at full-scale.  The application is available on desktop, tablet, in Virtual Reality or, in Mixed Realty headsets.

Design Review

Design Review

With the Design Review Experience you can collaborate with your design reviews from anywhere in the world!  This is available on desktop or in Virtual or Mixed Reality devices.

Factory Layout

Factory Layout

The Factory Layout Experience supports effective development of production line or factory layouts. This is available in full-scale (or in table-top view) Virtual or Mixed Reality.

Guides

Guide

Use the Guides Experience to create interactive work instructions for training or for use on the shop-floor. This is available in Virtual or Mixed Reality devices.

CAD Overlay

CAD Overlay

The CAD Overlay Experience enables digital 3D design data to be overlaid on top of a physical item.  Use this for inspection and quality purposes in Augmented Reality.

Desktop Review

DesktopReviewNEW

Sometimes you won’t have access to an immersive device,  so a desktop version has been developed to access the Visualization, Design Review and Factory Layout features

All of these are supported by the Visualization Pipeline which takes your 3D CAD and creates assets for use with XR devices and applications.  But, these assets do not have to be viewed on our applications, the pipeline can support your own in-house XR capability too

"One of the biggest problems the AMRC sees with immersive technology is the ability to take CAD information into business solutions, which has overtaken previous issues of the hardware just being cost-prohibitive. This is what Theorem Solutions Visualization Pipeline achieves by taking native CAD information from business systems (e.g. network drive or PLM) and preparing them automatically for consumption. This pipeline enables your different use cases from bespoke internal solutions through to commercial applications such as Theorem's Visualize capabilities for commercially supported applications."

DIGITALLY ENHANCE YOUR WORKFORCE

DEYW

A digital transformation strategy implies that your focus should be about the “digital”. However, in the 21st century, humans remain absolutely critical to how your business operates. Whilst smart factories can process vast amounts of ‘big data’, humans cannot.

Using XR technology to work with this big data bridges the gap between computers and humans...

VirtualRealityHeadset

Virtual Reality

error

Virtual Reality (VR) places the user into an entirely simulated (computer generated) environment, by standing in a CAVE or using a headset (for example HTC Vive). It entirely occludes the user’s natural surroundings.

AugmentedReality

Augmented Reality

error

Augmented Reality (AR) presents a view of the natural world overlaid with a layer of digital content. This can be viewed through the screen of a smartphone or tablet (for example Apple’s ARKit), or limited information presented using a head mounted device (for example Google Glass or Vuzix Blade).

Mixed Reality Headset

Mixed Reality

error

Mixed Reality (MR) places a holographic projection of digital data into, and in some cases responsive to the physical world (for example Microsoft HoloLens or Magic Leap). An MR head mounted ‘visor’ is clear, providing a comfortable view of the natural world (rather than viewing through a device screen).
