We're Attending Design & Manufacturing Minneapolis 2022

Written by Jennifer Cox | 21 Sep 2022

Theorem Solutions will be at Design & Manufacturing Minneapolis (part of Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis) on the 2nd and 3rd of November.

Our Extended Reality (XR) team will be on stand 2119 at the Minneapolis Convention Center showcasing Theorem-XR, a suite of engineering focused use case-based software that is changing the way engineering and manufacturing companies review, layout and validate their 3D design data using the latest Augmented (AR), Mixed (MR) and Virtual Reality (VR) devices.

Theorem-XR delivers a range of XR experiences for manufacturing and design related tasks, including Immersive Visualization, Factory Layout, Design Review, Visual Digital Twin and Training Guides. In the modern world products are rarely developed from a single location, and XR is an incredible tool for facilitating creativity and collaboration.

Collaborating remotely in XR saves a huge amount of time and money on travel costs alone. With the reduction in design, development, early-stage prototyping, layout and training costs, XR is enabling teams to work more efficiently.

For many, getting 3D data into XR is most difficult part of adoption. Theorem-XR aids in the process with experiences that are underpinned by the Visualisation Pipeline. The pipeline provides a fully automated CAD data preparation process. Bringing 3D data assets directly into Theorem-XR, or allowing the creation of Unity or Unreal assets for use in internally developed XR solutions.

“As with technology itself Theorem Solutions is ever evolving, and customer requirements drive this growth.” says Marketing Director Kevin Levy. “We’re always looking to connect with engineers and manufacturers and learn the new challenges they face so that we can continue developing solutions. Our team is passionate about utilising our experience of the traditional design world, to transform technology adoption in the emerging and fast-growing XR market.”

It’s difficult grasp the capabilities of full-scale visualization without trying the technology, so come and see us at stand 2119 for the opportunity to experience XR for yourself. Attendees can also learn about CADverter; a range of robust direct CAD translation tools supporting 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, CREO, JT and NX. Along with our 3D PDF suite, which enables collaboration and data sharing through enhanced interactive documentation. Register for Design & Manufacturing Minneapolis here.
