Theorem has been recognized for many years as a world leader in the mechanical design sector for translating a broad range of CAD/CAM/CAE and Visualization data. Over the last few years Model Based Definition (PMI GD&T) support for both CAD and Visualization formats, enabling users to move away from drawings to exchange Model Based Definitions has been developed.
To support the broad range of data we have developed a set of Generic Collaboration Objects (G.C.O.). This is a set of objects into which all forms of data can be represented and held. Existing only in memory form, G.C.O. allows Theorem to develop new products and technologies quickly and at low cost. GCO has also been extended to support the data formats used in the Process Plant & Marine CAD world.
More recent technical developments have been to simplify and provide secure Data Exchange technologies for the supply chain along with tools to support Data Migration and Long Term Archiving processes which are of growing importance as more and more engineering data is digital.
Today we have a range of products and technologies which enable us to provide services on an efficient basis or products for on-site use. There is no single format or data exchange process which fits all, so our continued R&D investment enables us to keep pace with the demands of our users and the technologies they use.
