Overview

Theorem is pleased to consider applications to become resellers from companies of all kinds, all over the World. More than ten years experience of working with resellers means that Theorem has the understanding and flexibility to provide reseller contracts that meet the various needs of most organisations who want to deliver CAD data translation applications to their customers.

Opportunities for resellers vary from no cost, low effort plans, to agreements where the reseller may invest in software and training in order to deliver a comprehensive service to his customers.

One-off Opportunities

Sometimes a CAD/CAM reseller may find the path to a successful sale blocked by the "What am I going to do about converting my data?" question.

Often, the reseller sees this as an opportunity to add value to his CAD/CAM sale, and will decide that as well as selling the CAD/CAM solution, he will sell a proven CAD translator. That means he comes to Theorem with a view that he wants to be a Theorem Reseller.

Normal reseller agreements may not be suitable. They might take time to prepare and exchange, and they are designed for the reseller who plans a number of Theorem sales each year, rather than responding to one-off opportunities. Reference reseller agreements may also not be suitable.

In these circumstances, Theorem has a special "Single Sale Agreement" that will enable the CAD/CAM reseller to include a Theorem CADverter in his proposal. This enables him to concentrate on his core business, the selling of the CAD/CAM solution.

Accredited Reselling

Where a company is able to demonstrate a long term commitment to the pro-active selling of Theorem's products, they can be signed up as an Accredited Reseller. This status means that they will purchase and install demonstration software, and that they will have technical staff trained in support and demonstration skills.

It also means that they will share a sales forecast with Theorem, and will perhaps have a sliding scale of commission based on their sales results.

Theorem Accredited resellers are often successful specialists in PLM sales and have a client base which includes major aerospace and automotive OEMs, and their supply chains.

Accredited Reseller Agreements

  • Invests in demonstration software.

  • Provides initial forecast and refreshes it monthly.
  • Provides local demonstration facility.
  • Offers first line support for own customers.
  • Gets highest level of discount.

Reseller Agreement

  • Selectively enabled for demonstration.
  • Does not hold stock.
  • Provides initial forecast and quarterly refresh.
  • Provides local demonstrations.
  • Uses Theorem support.
  • Gets level 2 discount.

Reference Reseller Agreement *

  • Identifies the opportunity.
  • Registers the opportunity on Theorem's lead tracking system.
  • Theorem conduct the sale.
  • Theorem take the order.
  • Reseller paid "finders fee" when sale closed.
  • Does not demonstrate (may use Theorem on-line or CADverter.com )
  • Does not provide support

Single Sale Agreement

  • Identifies the opportunity
  • Conducts the sale.
  • Takes the order.
  • Receives commision at 3rd level of discount.
  • May or may not provide support.

* All Theorem CATIA V5 CADverters can only be re-sold via Reference Reselling.

** All of these options may be supported by web based demonstrations where a Reseller's client's data is is shown being translated to the system of choice. These demonstrations are conducted by Theorem experts and they can be viewed via an internet browser in the reseller or client's offices.
